For my group and I we are going to build a model on the wind patterns and the weather patterns of the Himalayan Mountains. Our model will consist of a scale model of the mountain and the surrounding area and things showing how the wind blows and how it affects the weather.
Gio, Vitor and I are doing our project on the wind patterns and climate changes within the Himalayas. We will build a scientificly accurate model of the mountains, the area around it and it's wind patterns.
Bruno, Justin, and I are researching about how meteorology in the Himalayas has changed over time. We will have different types of thermometers, along with facts about how the Sherpas used folk to determine what the weather will be.
My group will have power point to first explain our ideas to the class. Then we will create a display of the prayer flags and have the key information on a card or paper near the prayer flags.
My group, Peter, Alex, and I , have chosen to do our project on the climate of the Himalayas. We will make a model and a diagram that shows how the climate is different on different sides of the mountain. Also how it is different at different altitudes.
I am working with Chris and we are researching on how ancient creatures and gods associate with the culture.We may add some form. Of monuments or religion that go with the Himalayas.
In our Asia project we are studying the Sherpas and their different worshiping and rituals they practice in order to keep the gods happy. The gods they worship represent the different mountains the Sherpas live in. Before they perfo A expedition they pray to the gods that theyll bless them and take car of them.
We are going to be making a trifold presentation, with a model avalanche. Using an iPad we also plan to show different clips of avalanches. The trifold board, will include why avalanches form, along with how it affects the regions. Bobby and Tyler.
